In the past, branding irons have been for cowboys and dads who like to grill. With this customizable, handheld version, however, we could see it becoming a new hipster accessory. (Is that a Helvetica font to lure in the design junkies?) If you think about all the weird things hardcore hipsters do to their bodies already—DIY tattoos, safety pin piercings—branding doesn’t seem too far-fetched.
